Ascend 7 BV (“Ascend 7”, “we”) respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect through ascend7.be, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data-protection law.

WHAT WE COLLECT, AND WHY
Contact form or e-mail: name, e-mail address, subject and message, to answer you (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and pre-contractual steps you request).
Bookings (1:1 Coaching, Soulful Wealth, AI Foundations, Yoga Nidra, Viniyoga): name, e-mail, phone number, the service, date and time booked, and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us. Used to deliver and administer the booking (performance of a contract) and to meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).
Propose a cause for our annual giving: name, e-mail, the cause and your reasons, to run the December vote (your consent; withdraw at any time).
Spotivo early-access invitation and Trader early access: your e-mail address and anything you write, to tell you when access opens (your consent). The Spotivo app itself will have its own privacy notice; spots and memories saved in Spotivo are private by default.
Member account or sign-in: name, e-mail, sign-in details and your bookings, to give you access to your account (performance of a contract).
Site chat: what you type, plus basic technical data, to answer you (legitimate interest).
Simply visiting the site: technical data such as IP address, browser, pages viewed and cookies (see below), to run the site securely and understand how it is used (legitimate interest; non-essential cookies only with your consent).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Wix.com Ltd., which hosts this site and provides the booking, forms, chat, member and payment tools we use. Wix processes data on our behalf under its data-processing terms, with servers in the EU, the United States and Israel; transfers outside the EEA are covered by EU adequacy decisions (Israel) and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our payment provider, for card payments made when you book.
Karin Leppens, independent yoga practitioner, receives the name and contact details of participants who book Yoga Nidra or Viniyoga, so she can deliver the session.
Public authorities, where the law requires it. We do not share your data with anyone else.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Contact-form messages, chat and early-access e-mails: up to 2 years after our last exchange. Bookings, payments and invoices: for the statutory retention period under Belgian accounting and tax law. Giving proposals: until the December vote is closed and reported, then at most 12 months. Member accounts: until you close the account, or after 3 years without activity.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw a consent you gave. Write to benny.lanoizele@ascend7.be; we respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
